Motor Cars LA is delighted to be able to offer for sale this stunning Hurricane Cobra which was built as a tribute to the #88 1965 Cobra driven by Harold M. Keck (Serial # CSX 3008) and won the United States Road Racing Championship Series.

The body and chassis were acquired from Hurricane Motorsports and is kit #91 of just 121 total kits produced by the company.  Mated to this is a 427 cubic inch Dart Block with AFR Heads, FI Tech Fuel Injection System and a Tremec TKO-500 5-Speed Manual Transmission.  Other highlights include A-Arms with coilovers, Independent rear with 8,8 pumpkin and coilovers, Wilwood Disc Braking System on each corner and Shelby 15" wheels with knock-offs (8" front and and 10" rear).

We are not just offering a 'kit car' here - this is so much more...the detail which has gone into creating one of the best and most useable replicas which we have ever seen is staggering.  Accompanying the sale of this very special tribute car are boxes of spare parts, workshop manuals, documentation showing how this example was created from images of Harold Keck driving his Cobra in the mid-1960's, spare leather seats, belts, racing windshield, intercom headsets and display items...the star of which is a heavily autography Cobra helmet with the signatures of such legends as Bob Bondurant and Carroll Shelby!

This replica is supplied with a clean California Title which reflects that this is a Special Construction vehicle.
