We are delighted to be able to offer this exceptionally well presented 1969 Plymouth Road Runner, on behalf of the present owner.
This vehicle is powered by a 383ci V8 sourced from a 1970 model year variant and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission, whereas the original 1969 used a four-speed manual transmission.
It is understood that this Road Runner was subjected to a full rotisserie restoration approximately 12 to 15 years ago and has been used sparingly since. During this restoration, the color of the Road Runner was changed from Silver Metallic to the current Rallye Green.
This Road Runner was produced at the Los Angeles plant in February 1969 and has remained in California ever since. Originally produced as a 383ci 4-Barrel V8 High Performance with a 4-Speed Manual Transmission, other factory options included a High-Trim Split line, Vinyl Bench Seat, Silver Metallic, Light Package, LH Remote Racing Mirror, Hood/Fender Mounted Turn Signals, Roof Drip Rail Moldings, Radio Solid State AM (2 Watts) and Accent Stripes in Black.
This Road Runner is offered for sale today in an exceptional state of mechanical and cosmetic condition and is ready to be enjoyed for many years to come.
